Inditex already accepts mobile payments in all its Spanish stores

inditex

The clothing giant in Spanish Inditex, has announced the deployment of mobile payments in all your retail stores, including Zara, Pull & Bear, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Oysho, Stradivarius, Uterqüe and Zara Home.

According to the Chairman of the Group, the new service will be available through the mobile application of each brand, as well as in a new application for the entire group called InWallet. In this case, it would be a mobile application that would allow buyers to make their purchases and payments in any store.

Once the payment function is enabled in the application itself, the customer will be able to add one or more credit or debit cards. Later, the application will generate a temporary QR code, which must be scanned in the box to make the purchase.

This new mobile payment application will have the ability to record all user receipts, both when buying in physical stores, and when making purchases online. Furthermore, the QR codes used by Inditex are similar to those used by other applications such as WeChat.

Starbucks also uses a similar approach to its popular in-store payment service, which is currently available in the United States and other countries. It has been reported that all Inditex Group customers will have the opportunity to make contactless payments based on NFC technology through payment services such as Samsung.

It has also been mentioned that thanks to the reach and penetration of the group in the retail sector in Spain, it will provide a great boost to the mobile payment system in that country, which will surely cause purchases through mobile phones to increase notably .
