Send Cloud

Send Cloud the shipping tool has raised € 5 million thanks to its investors henQ, BOM and Tiin Capital. With this amount of money, the Dutch with their scales want to improvise and improve the logistics of Ecommerce in Europe and with this expand its presence around the continent.

Herman Hintzen, co-founder of new inverter henQ, says he believes in SendCloud's ambition to conquer the European shipping market. “They serve online stores that are constantly growing. In addition, the deliverers of the main businesses in the market will not be able to meet the needs of online retailers. With that in mind, with the growth of the economy, we are convinced that SendCloud's ambitious team will optimize the shipping market in Europe even more. ”With previous investments, SendCloud was able to improvise its tool and make it suitable for large stores.

According to CEO of SendCloud, Rob den Heuvel, logistics account for about 20 to 40 percent of online retailer costs. “We see that consumers have become more and more demanding to get their parcels and to return their products. The biggest challenge is being able to take these demands into account and meet them in a way that we can get some kind of profit from this.

Send Cloud was founded in 2012 with the purpose of making the shipping processes of small or medium online stores more efficient.

It offers different shipping options, faster order processing, customer notifications and fully automatic return processes in Europe. The company has more than 10,000 users in Europe and 55 employees working for it, its headquarters are in the Netherlands. And it is currently active in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and Austria.
