Shopify has announced that 100.000 companies are using its eCommerce platform to mount your online shops. This company has clients in more than 150 countries, with virtual stores ranging from small stores to large online sales platforms for technology giants such as Google y Tesla.
"We now consider Shopify a retail operating system, a platform that allows a company to build and run its entire business using one system," explains Tobias Lütke, one of the founders of Shopify. "Already, thousands of merchants launch an online store, a physical store, pop-up stores, and more, all using Shopify."
Last year the company launched Shopify Payments y Shopify-POS. With these systems retailers they can have a fully integrated payment processor and can use the platform in their physical store. The company also launched ShopifyMobile, that allows merchants accept credit card payments from a mobile phone.
